Part of the greater Roslyn area, Roslyn Heights' most of the inhabitants belonging to age group of eighth through twelfth grade students attend Roslyn School District, to be followed by East Williston school district, the Wheatley School, the Herricks School District, and the Mineola School District. The population of CDP consists of White, African American, Native American, Asian, and other races. The demography of the CDP also includes Hispanic or Latino of almost every race. Classes from these and other area schools come to Roslyn Heights in significantly large numbers. This assemblage is primarily to learn a mesmerizing facet of life pertaining to the historic Missouri town. 

For members of the state DAR organization, the CDP provides and features centrally positioned facilities. However, these facilities are accessible to the general public in furtherance of luncheons, meetings, receptions, and all other kinds of celebratory events. The Roslyn Heights has an elevation of over 174 feet. The CDP has its over 100 years old Fire Department.
